ParkinsonNet: connection at the time of Corona

A network of over 3,400 physiotherapists, geriatricians, psychologists, speech therapists and many more specialist healthcare providers. From 70 regions, they offer the best possible care for 50,000 people with Parkinson's disease. That's ParkinsonNet. A small office organisation in Nijmegen facilitates knowledge sharing, collaboration and the exchange of experiences between these healthcare providers using a digital platform. Blogs, meetings, news, FAQs, exchanging messages and files: these are just a few elements of this community.

Project kick-off during lockdown

ParkinsonNet will soon be doing that using Salesforce Customer Community. The project was already raring to go when the government announced the lockdown. What now? Normally, we start a project with a full-day kick-off involving everyone. During this day, requirements and wishes are explored in depth, the product backlog is compiled, and key decisions for data and process design are made.

g-company en ParkinsonNethave reacted quickly to be able to effectively start the project in the “new normal”. Through a few short (1.5-2 hour) and intensive online workshops, we have succeeded in completing the entire project preparation. Very efficiently and in an extremely good atmosphere, so that everyone involved was keen on the actual implementation afterwards. This will lead to the go-live of the new robust and scalable community of ParkinsonNet later this summer, which optimally facilitates collaboration within their network.

It's unusual to work together entirely digitally, but thanks to everyone's full commitment, it's going well!

Project kick-off during lockdown

Soon ParkinsonNet will do so with the help of Salesforce Customer Community. The project was already in the set-up phase when the lockdown was announced by the government. How do we

Proceed? We normally start a project with a full-day kick-off meeting with everyone involved. During this day, the requirements and wishes are explored in detail, the product backlog is compiled, and the most important decisions are made regarding data and process design.
