On 7 September, g-company organised, together with Handicart Foundation and Salesforce.org held the online event "Grow your charity with Salesforce P10". Its aim was to show non-profit organisations what choosing Salesforce can do for them.

Growing with a small team
Dave Stenfert Kroese of Handicart enthusiastically talks about how his foundation was able to professionalise thanks to donated Salesforce licences. Handicart is a non-profit organisation that enables temporarily or permanently disabled golfers to continue playing golf. They do this by lending out golf carts (handicarts) at a very competitive rate at many golf courses in the Netherlands.
The number of complex processes within the foundation is considerable. These include distinguishing between memberships, donations, tournament revenues and invoicing for rounds driven with handicarts. All these incoming cash flows are highly automated. Service Cloud and Experience Cloud are used to make communication with clubs and members as efficient as possible. Passes for new members are produced by a third party via a web link. It is partly thanks to this automation that the foundation has been able to grow rapidly, while the office team consists of just 5 FTEs.
Dave praises the many benefits Salesforce offers. Reports are easy to create and provide insight into the foundation's core processes. Results of campaigns are immediately visible and form the source for subsequent selections. At the same time, Dave emphasises that Salesforce is never 'finished'. New releases, advancing insight and growth require processes to be reviewed and improved periodically. The role of g-company as advisor and implementation partner is indispensable here.

Salesforce.org offer
Since its inception, Salesforce has been passionate about supporting social initiatives, explains Jerôme Verwater, Account Executive of Salesforce.org. In addition to the 10 donated licences, a discounted rate applies for additional licences. Users get free access to the 'Power of Us Hub' and 'Trailhead' knowledge platforms, where they can ask questions and attend training sessions. New is 'M4NGO'; a marketing automation solution that is affordable for smaller organisations. Non-profits can also apply to the Pro Bono programme, where an expert contributor will spend as many as 20 hours working for an organisation for free.
