As a Salesforce user, you effortlessly switch to a new version three times a year, giving you access to a host of new features and improvements. Meanwhile, we are in the Summer '21 release.
Einstein Search
We note that Einstein Search is still little used, which is a missed opportunity. Einstein Search makes search results much more personalised, i.e. a user finds what they are looking for faster. Natural language searches are also partly supported. For example, you can search for "Accounts in Amsterdam" or "My Open Cases" and you will immediately see matching results.
Service Cloud
The Salesforce Survey feature keeps getting one step better. It is now possible to send surveys to groups in bulk.
Split View
With Split View you can edit multiple records at once. For example, you have a list of donors where you want to give a section a different status. You can then tick them and change the status of the selection with a single click.
And finally, there is a new beta feature where you can update data directly in a Salesforce report with 'Inline Editing‘.
Converse
Updates for Converse also continue. The following four updates have been made:
It is now possible to website donations heading directly to a company rather than to a contact.
Leads can now be converted to Accounts and Contacts in bulk.
The Campaign Management Toolkit offers historical insight into campaign results and has smart tools to select contacts for new campaigns.
The Converse Geo Management Toolkit helps marketers and fundraisers make relevant features geographically visible.
FinDock
Nice news from FinDock is that collection runs can now be generated automatically based on a self-set schedule. The validation of collection runs is now also visually displayed in a separate component for the collection run page. Another new feature is Paylinks, where a unique URL can be generated for each amount to be received. The URL can be used in a payment request in e-mail, for example, and can also be displayed as a QR code.
